This is according to GamesBeat managing editor Mike Minotti and Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb. podcast this week.
“To be clear, one thing we are very certain is that the ones being announced in this Direct are ports of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. switchsaid Minotti.

“Yeah, I think we’re going to see a lot of Zelda elements,” Grubb said. “I think this is like a Zelda explosion Nintendo.
“100% there will be a Nintendo Direct in September. [Direct], possibly a Mini, and there was also talk of a Partner Direct. “
Grubb adds: The name-dropped details are that Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD have been ported to the Switch.
“Again, even if I hadn’t heard of it, I would have guessed it was happening now while I was waiting for it to be ready. Breath of the Wild 2Still, we’ve heard of it, and we’ve heard of other things, a Metroid Prime remaster, but it seems like it should be announced at a place like this.
“And third parties will emerge,” he continued. “I’ve heard some of that too, but the stories I’ve heard aren’t all that exciting. Sounds like a mini direct to me at least, but if the next Zelda gets named, it’s a definite possibility.” It sounds like a big general direct.”
Grubb said he heard from a “pretty good source” that the event would take place the week starting September 12.
Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are already in HD on the Wii U and are one of the few last-gen Nintendo games not ported to the Switch.
Based on what I’ve heard about the Direct, Minotti says everything is speculation other than the Twilight Princess and Wind Waker announcements.
“The Metroid Prime thing seems like it should happen. There are a lot of remasters to announce for one thing, but that might be a bit of a theme here.”
Metroid Prime’s long-awaited Nintendo Switch remaster Grubb recently claimed that it will finally be released later this year.
