Washington, April 21 (Reuters)-President Joe Biden will release an additional $ 800 million security assistance package for Ukraine on Thursday in providing updates on US efforts related to Russia’s invasion. present.
Biden will address the Americans from the White House Roosevelt Room at 9:45 am (Greenwich Mean Time 1345). US officials said they would share the latest information on US efforts to help the Ukrainian people.

At the meeting, Biden touted the toughness of the Ukrainian army and said NATO’s unity had shocked Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia has said it has entered a new phase of its activities and is deliberately seeking to “liberate” the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine. Western allies anticipate that Russia’s campaign could last for months, stalemate and test Ukrainian fighters’ capabilities on the battlefield.
Russia states that it launched what is called a “special military operation” on February 24th to demilitarize and “demilitarize” Ukraine. Kieu and his western allies have rejected it as a false excuse.
The US military is not fighting in Ukraine, but is indirectly involved, armed, trained and funded by that army.
